Prayerful Rally of Reparation on June 1

Public Hour of Prayer to Joyfully Proclaim Jesus Christ as our Lord, God, Savior, and King

Please join your fellow Christians on Saturday June 1st, 11:00am at the corner of East State St. and Alpine. We will stand publicly in opposition to sins against marriage, family, and human dignity and joyfully pray and share the love of Christ with our city. 

Many have turned away from the gentle love of Jesus and are living and parading lifestyles that are contrary to the Gospels and a rejection of the Holy will of God.

Please join your fellow Christians as we humbly stand in public for one hour on June 1st to share Jesus as our only Way, Truth, Resurrection and Life with our community.

Signs will be provided. Please bring your Bible, a Cross, a prayer book, Rosary, a picture of Jesus, or a chair if needed.

As many of you know, also on June 1st a large “gay” pride parade will be taking place in downtown Rockford. Homosexual pride parades distort the image of God in humanity and deeply harm the communities they take place in. Some of the goals of this pride are to normalize sin, destroy Christian morality, and as one supporter of the parade wrote, "to show that we now own Rockford."

Please invite your family, friends, and Church to join us on June 1st at State and Alpine, as we gather to pray and make reparation for the sins being committed and celebrated in our city.
