Auburn Street

By the grace of God, the Auburn St. abortion mill was closed on Thursday and Friday last week.  We thank God for the lives saved.  They will most likely be open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday this week - please join us in prayer at 611 Auburn Street if you can.

OFFERING HEALING: Abortion harms women in many ways.  Women who take the abortion pills mifepristone and misoprostol almost always discharge the dead bodies of their daughter or son into the toilet.  Seeing her deceased child face to face in the toilet causes most mothers sorrow, anguish, and heartache.  Flushing the remains of her child down the toilet may add to and increase the pain the mother is experiencing, so the Rockford Family Initiative in partnership with local Churches to offer help to any post-abortive mother would like her child's body cared for. We will provide free of charge:  

1. An urn for the babies remains to be placed in.

2. The burial of the child in consecrated ground.

3. A burial prayer service with Scripture reading for the child and family.

4. For those who would like, a Holy Mass will be offered for the soul of the deceased child.

5. For those interested, information on post-abortion healing.

If you ever have the opportunity to speak with a recently post-abortive mother who does not want to flush the bodily remains of her child into the sewer please put her in touch with the Rockford Family Initiative as soon as possible. We of course hope that no babies are killed by abortion, but if the tragedy of an abortion occurs we can offer mothers our friendship and this gesture of love in the hope it can lead to healing.
