Open Letter to Rockford City Officials

Dear Mayor McNamara, Alderman, and County Board Members,

In a recent draft resolution brought to the City Council, Alderman Bill Rose (D-9) asked for a cease-fire in Israel and Palestine. Rose said "I believe it is time cities and municipalities should be placing pressure on national leaders to stop breaking the law and stop funding genocide." 

However, it appears that Alderman Rose, our Mayor, and some members of the City Council support the genocide of children taking place right here in Rockford at the abortion mill on 611 Auburn Street, and the soon-to-open late term child killing center on Maray Drive.

We all want peace and justice in the Middle East and Ukraine… but why do some of our Rockford politicians apparently support and encourage the murder of God's children, the dismembering of babies, and the crushing of the skulls of little girls and boys right here in Rockford?

Can we pray and work together for the end of senseless violence, especially for the end of the murder of God's children in the womb?

City officials: please don't be hypocrites and say you want an end to wars halfway around the world, while at the same time supporting a vicious, brutal, and deadly war on the children of Rockford.
